Description:
Peacock Cichlids are prized for their dazzling colors — ranging from electric blues and fiery reds to brilliant yellows and oranges. Males are especially vibrant and territorial, while females are more muted in tone. Native to the sandy-bottom zones of Lake Malawi, they prefer open swimming space and do well in properly managed cichlid tanks with other Aulonocara or similarly tempered species.
